Dr Kathy Ziatas (BAppSc, PGradDip, PhD) has worked in autism services (Government and Non-Government) for 23 years. She has provided direct and consultative intervention throughout this time. She is a trained Family Therapist and certified Clinical Supervisor. Her PhD in autism and theory of mind received a distinction. Kathy is experienced in delivering individual and group services to the full spectrum of children, adolescents and adults with autism, ranging from those individuals who will require support throughout life to those who attend university and enter professional occupations. Kathy has presented numerous workshops and lectures on autism as professional development events and also annually to the Speech Pathology undergraduate course at Curtin University. She undertakes supervision of practical students from both Speech Pathology (Curtin) and Psychology (UWA), includes student therapy assistants and volunteers in the running of group interventions and acts as Associate Supervisor to Masters research students (Curtin,UWA).
